Mysuru: A miscreant made away with a gold chain of a girl at Police Bhavan on Lalitha Mahal Palace Road here on Nov. 26. The girl, whose eight-gram gold chain was stolen, has been identified as the daughter of one Sowmya, a resident of city. Sowmya, who attended the marriage function of one of her relatives, had left her daughter to play at the balcony of the marriage hall. When people were busy at the function, a miscreant, who made use of the opportunity, stole the gold chain from the girl at about 12 noon and fled. Later, the girl informed the matter to her mother who lodged a complaint with Nazarbad Police.
