Mysore/Mysuru: A 22-year-old girl, depressed over falling hair, committed suicide by hanging self at her house in Gururaja Layout at Raghavendranagar here on Thursday night.
The deceased girl is Kavyashree, daughter of Kumaraswamy. A native of Kanthegowdanapalya, Nelamangala taluk of Bengaluru Rural district, Kavyashree was staying at a rented room in Gururaja Layout and was pursuing her 2nd year nursing course at a private Nursing College in city. Kavyashree, who began suffering from hair loss since a few days, availed treatment for the same but as the problem still persisted, Kavyashree is said to have become depressed and took the extreme step at about 10.30 pm on Thursday.
