Mysuru: About 100 members of Karnataka State Government Girijana Ashrama School Teachers Welfare Association staged a protest in front of the DC’s office here this morning seeking fulfilment of their demands. The members urged the Government to treat the teachers under Special Category as they were teaching tribal children.
They alleged that the Government’s move to appoint Ashrama School teachers through KPSC would possibly render them jobless and hence urged the Government to drop the proposal and continue their services.
