Mysore/Mysuru: A conman, who befriended a girl from city, has cheated her of Rs. 1 lakh on the pretext of sending her gifts from London.
The city girl, who has been cheated, is 19-year-old Bibi Ameena Ansari, a resident of Rajivnagar in city. The conman had sent a friend request to Ameena in the name of George Willian which was accepted by Ameena. Later, the conman told Ameena that he was staying in London and will send her gifts from there.
