G. Jayamma (79), a retired Head Mistress, passed away yesterday in the town. She had served for about 38 years as a teacher and Head Mistress at various schools in Srirangapatna, Baburayanakoppal and Dasaraguppe.
She leaves behind two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Srirangapatna.
