Mysore/Mysuru: Unidentified persons, who waylaid an autorickshaw, have assaulted three friends who were proceeding in the auto near Silk Factory Circle on May 1. Those who were assaulted are R. Madhusudan of Janata Nagar, Tejas and Pavan.
According to the complaint from Madhusudan, on May 1 at about 11.30 pm, when he, Tejas and Pavan were proceeding in an autorickshaw, a group of five to six unidentified persons waylaid the auto near Silk Factory Circle on Manandavadi Road, threw stones and broke the front glass of the auto, hit him on the head with an iron rod besides assaulting Tejas and Pavan.
Based on the complaint, Ashokapuram Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
