Mysuru: District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa said, unlike previous years, it is being mulled over to bring in freshness in organising the forthcoming Dasara Food Fest. The fest will be organised in two venues — Scouts and Guides Grounds behind old Deputy Commissioner’s Office and the Grounds near Lalitha Mahal Palace in Siddarthanagar.
The Minister said, there are complaints about the quality of food served at the Dasara Food Fest. Hundreds of stalls will be put up at the Food Fest every year, and there were complaints about lack of cleanliness and basic amenities at the venues. With the stalls built in a row, there will be complaints about dishing out quality food and also the quantity, especially during the rush of people, said Dr. Mahadevappa.
