Mysuru: The work on the nearly Rs.30 lakh worth fountain at the Freedom Fighters Park in Subbarayanakere on Chamaraja Double Road had been completed quite some time back, but it is still lying in a state of neglect with weeds and grass growing on all sides and even inside the pond.
The work on the fountain was initiated by the then Corporator Prashanth Gowda. However, the fountain has not sprung to life even nearly two years after its completion.
