Four persons accused in the murder of Devendra alias Devu, who was hacked to death near his residence in Paduvarahalli on May 5, 2016, were produced before the Principal District and Sessions Court in City this morning. As the accused were not produced for the hearing in December last year due to security reasons, they were produced before the Court today. Only 24 out of 28 total accused were produced last year. The accused who were brought from Hindalga Jail and produced before the Court today morning are former MCC Corporator C. Madesh, his brother C. Manjunath alias Manja, Chandru, the owner of the Bolero vehicle which was used for the crime and Kaala, the person who had given shelter to the gang. The four accused were brought to the Court under tight security which was supervised by NR Sub Division ACP Umesh G. Shet, Jayalakshmipuram Police Inspector Ravindra and City Crime Branch (CCB) Police personnel.
