Mysore/Mysuru: P. Chainraj (80), Founder of Sindoor Silks in Mysuru and a resident of Ittigegud, passed away here on Thursday. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, two daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and a host of relatives and friends.
He was the Founder-President of Mysore Textile Merchants Association and Founder-Member of Asha Kirana Hospital. A philanthropist, Chainraj was the Trustee and former Vice-President of Mahaveer Jain Vidyalaya in city. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill yesterday.
