Bengaluru: Upset over being continuously sidelined, former MP A.H. Vishwanath is said to have decided to quit the Congress, the party with which he was associated for over four decades. Vishwanath is all set to give a shock to the Congress, which is still in a celebratory mood following the Nanjangud and Gundlupet by-polls victory.
Vishwanath, an influential Kuruba leader and a prominent politician of Mysuru region, upset over the way the Congress leaders are treating him, is said to have made up his mind to quit the Congress and join the JD(S).
