Mysuru: Asserting that the Mysuru taluk Tahsildar has cancelled the caste certificate of former BJP MLC Siddaraju, former Congress leader S.H. Subash has demanded action against those leaders having false caste certificates. Addressing a press meet here yesterday, Subash said that the SC/ST Caste Screening Committee had found that the ex-MLC and his family members belonged to Parivara community, which comes under Catergory-1. As such, the Tahsildar has cancelled the caste certificate issued to Siddaraju in August 2008, he said.
Claiming that the Tahsiladr has asked Siddaraju and his family members to return the caste certificates, he urged the authorities to initiate criminal action against such leaders who hold false caste certificates.
