Mysore/Mysuru: Former Mayor Narayan today slammed the Centre for adopting anti-labour policies and removal of many Labour Acts to help multi-national companies.
Addressing a press meet under the banner of Karnataka State Local Bodies Scavengers Association at Jaladarshini Guest House on Hunsur Road here this morning, Narayan, who is the State President of the Association, said that the Centre using the lockdown period had removed nearly 45 important Labour Acts and has made only four Acts which will pose a lot of problems to labourers and added that the new Acts would only benefit investors, owners and multi-national companies.
