Mysore/Mysuru: Strongly opposing the MCC’s (Mysuru City Corporation) decision to name some Circles of the city after late Corporators and other dignitaries, former FKCCI (Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Chairman Sudhakar S. Shetty has urged the authorities to drop such moves.
In a letter written to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rohini Sindhuri, Sudhakar Shetty said that thousands of tourists will visit the city every year and Mysuru will be left to search for more Circles if the trend of naming Circles after Corporators continue.
