Mysuru: With Dasara Festival fast approaching, a team of Forest officials, led by Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF) Alexander and Veterinarians Dr. D.N. Nagaraj and Dr. Mujeeb, visited various elephants camps where Dasara elephants are housed and conducted their health check-up yesterday.
The team visited Balle Elephant Camp where Golden Howdah-carrying elephant Arjuna is housed, Thithimatti Elephant Camp where Balarama is housed, Dubare Elephant Camp where Vijaya, Harsha, Vikrama, Cauvery, Dhananjaya and Eshwara are being taken care and also visited Mathigodu Elephant Camp where Abhimanyu is housed.
