Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru City Traffic Police, who are conducting drives to clear footpath encroachments, continued their drives in city yesterday and have registered a total of 11 cases besides collecting Rs. 3,000 as fines from encroachers.

Yesterday, Krishnaraja, Narasimharaja, Siddarthanagar and V.V. Puram Traffic Police personnel conducted the drives on New Kantharaj Urs Road, Kabir Road, Dr. Rajkumar Road and Gen. Cariappa Road and booked 8 cases under Karnataka Police Act and 3 cases under Indian Motor Vehicle Act besides collecting fines from those encroaching footpaths.
