The Executive Engineer of Kabini Reservoir in H.D. Kote has issued flood warning to villagers living on the either banks of Kabini River. In a press release, the Executive Engineer has stated that the authorities were releasing about 5,000 cusecs of water from the reservoir to the river as the inflow had increased owing to heavy rainfall. The authorities have urged people not to venture into the waters and to also safeguard their properties and livestock as there were chances of increasing the outflow into river.
