Bengaluru: Even as the dispute over the deaths of five women in post-partum period due to the administration of IV fluid after delivering babies through C-section in Ballari Medical College and Research Centre (BMCRC) refuses to die, it has come to light that, five more women died in Raichur and Chitradurga hospitals owing to similar reasons.
Four among the women died at Sindhanur Taluk Hospital in Raichur district in October this year. They have been identified as Chandrakala (26), Renukamma (32), Mousami Mandal (22) and Channamma (25).
