The Department of Fisheries has invited applications from fish farmers for availing subsidy under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Scheme, for various fishing activities. Under the scheme, 40 percent subsidy will be given to beneficiaries from General category and 60 percent for SC/ST and women beneficiaries. The prescribed application forms can be obtained from the Office of the Assistant Director of Fisheries in Taluk headquarters and the last date for submission of filled in application forms is Sept. 2.
