A low pressure area is likely to form over the south-west Arabian Sea in the next couple of days and subsequently turn into a cyclonic storm. The cyclone would be called ‘Tauktae.’ The cyclone is expected to hit the western coast of India on May 14-15, leading to possible heavy rainfall in the region of Kerala, Karnataka, Goa and Tamil Nadu.
