Mysuru: The 64th one-day workshop on first-aid for industrial workers and supervisors was organised by Nanjangud Industries Association (NIA) at a private hotel in city yesterday.
Inaugurating the programme, SP C.B. Ryshyanth opined that safety was of utmost importance for self and indirectly for the dependants. He observed that safety aspects were strictly followed as per a protocol abroad and expected such an observance in India also. He added that first-aid would be a great saver in times of emergency.
