Nanjangud Industries Association (NIA) in association with the Department of Factories and Boilers, Industrial Safety and Health, Government of Karnataka, Mysuru Division, has organised the 69th one-day training programme in first-aid for industrial workers and supervisors on Oct. 26 from 9 am to 5.30 pm at Hotel Shree Guru Residency, JLB Road Cross, Mysuru. The need for first-aid is greater than ever because of the increased use of machines and electric appliances in every day work at home, workplace etc., where more people at risk of injury and calamities. Thus there is an ever growing demand for first-aid training.

DCP Geetha Prasanna will inaugurate. R.K. Parthasarathy, Joint Director of Factories, Industrial Safety & Health, Mysuru, will preside. The faculty for this programme is Dr. Prakash, Secretary, St.John’s Ambulance Association, Mysuru Chapter. It will be presented through lectures, discussions, interactions and demonstrations.
