Mysuru: Summer is here and so are the incidents of fire. To prevent fire accidents and save the lives of victims in a speedy and efficient manner, fire service personnel were trained this morning in a fire-drill to handle fire emergencies.
Fire officers were taught how a building could be evacuated in the event of a fire or other emergencies. The drill was organised at Saraswathipuram Fire Station as part of Fire Safety Week observed by the Department of Fire Services every year between April 14 and April 20.
