As part of Fire Prevention Day, the Department of Fire and Emergency Services will be conducting fire mishaps prevention awareness campaigns at several public places across the city tomorrow (Feb.23) from morning till evening, according to District Fire Officer Gururaj. The campaigns will be held at schools and colleges, public offices, city and sub-urban bus stands and other prominent public joints across the city. The Department has been conducting such awareness campaigns across the State since 2021, following the 2011 Bengaluru fire mishap, which claimed the lives of seven persons.
