District Industries Centre (DIC) has invited applications from eligible rural candidates to receive loans for self-employment. The age should be between 18 and 35 years (45 years for SC/ST, backward class, minorities, ex-servicemen, women, physically challenged) with a pass in 8th standard and project cost should be above Rs.5 lakh. The loan amount will be 25% of project cost with a maximum of Rs.2.5 lakh (35% for reserved category with a maximum of Rs.3.5 lakh). Candidates can apply online by visiting www.cmegp.kar.nic.in and apply in duplicate before July 12 to DIC, Sayyaji Rao Road, Mysuru. .
