Financial aid

The Department of Horticulture, as part of ‘Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY)’ is offering a subsidy of 40 percent for the general category and 50 percent subsidy for small and marginal farmers, women and farmers belonging to SC and ST community, for horticulture mechanisation programme. The machinery approved under this scheme are pit digging machine, tree pruner, chaff cutter, power weeder, brush cutter, sprayer, cultivator, chain saw and wheel barrow; aluminium metal climber, coconut tree climber, aluminium pole, mango cutting machine, pepper decorticating/ deconing machine, mango grader, onion grading machine, seed extracting machine and high reach palm cutter.
