The Karnataka Media Academy had announced the provisional list of candidates selected for trainee journalists and invited public objections, if any. The Academy had invited applications from Post-Graduate degree holders in Journalism for imparting a 7-month training at the Office of the Department of Information and Public Relations. Only two PG Degree holders (each one belonging to SC/ ST category) were selected for the training.
