Mysuru: Felicitation volume titled ‘Jayasiri’ on noted writer Dr. D.S. Jayappa Gowda will be released at a function to be held at Babbur Kamme Sangha Samudaya Bhavan, near Sri Krishnadhama, Saraswathipuram here on Apr. 24 at 5 pm.
District Kannada Sahitya Parishat and well-wishers of Dr. Jayappa Gowda have organised this programme. Noted Kannada novelist Dr. S.L. Bhyrappa will inaugurate the programme. Senior litterateur Dr. C.P. Krishnakumar will preside. MP Pratap Simha, MLAs G.T. Devegowda and L. Nagendra and Kuvempu Bhasha Bharathi Praadhikara's former Chairman Dr. Pradhan Gurudutt will be present. Epigraphist H.M. Nagaraja Rao will speak about the felicitation volume.
