University of Mysore (UoM) has organised a programme on Nov. 18 at 11 am to felicitate retired professor, Department of Studies (DoS) in Chemistry, Prof. K. Basavaiah, who has been named among the top two percent scientists in the world as per a subject-wise analysis conducted by a team of scientists from Stanford University, USA. UoM Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar will preside over the event. Registrar Prof. Shivappa and Registrar (Evaluation) Prof. K.M. Mahadevan will be the chief guests. Chairman, DoS in Chemistry, Prof. Nagaraja Naik, faculty members, research students and others will be present.
