FDP on Technical Soft Skills held

The Department of Computer Science, St Joseph’s  First Grade College, in association with Karnataka State Computer Science Teachers Association, conducted a one-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Technical Soft Skills in the College premises recently. The event was inaugurated by M.J. Ravi Kumar, Mayor, Mysuru City Corporation (MCC). Prof. Yashavantha Dongre, VC (in-charge) of University of Mysore, Dr. Chidananda Gowda, former VC, Kuvempu University, H.V. Rajeev, Secretary, Pramathi Hill View Academy, Mysuru and Dr. P. Nagabhushan, DoS in CS, UoM, Mysuru, were the guests of honour. Around 50 teachers from different colleges participated in the programme. Valedictory address was delivered by Prof. J. Somashekhar, Registrar (Evaluation), UOM, Mysuru, along with Srikantha Swamy, Director - CDC, Mysuru, Dr. G. Hemanth Kumar, Prof. DoS in CS, UOM, Mysuru, Dr. Suresha, Prof. - DoS in CS, UOM, Mysuru and Dr. D. S. Guru Professor - DoS in CS, UOM, Mysuru, as guests of honour. The inauguration and valedictory were presided over by Prof. C.M. Mani, Principal, St. Joseph’s FGC in the presence of Rev. Fr. Vijay Kumar, Priest in-Charge, St Joseph’s & St. Mathias Institutions, Prof. K. Siddaraju, President, KSCSTA, Mysuru, Prof. Mallikarjuna Setty, Dean-Academic, St Joseph’s FGC, Anisha Kumar, HoD of CS, St. Joseph’s FGC, Mysuru.
