The Depart-ment of Mechanical Engineering, NIE, has organised a one-week Faculty Development Programme on “Energy Management ISO 50001 and Environmental Assurance” from Mar.13-18 sponsored by TEQIP-II (a Govt. of India Project) to demonstrate the importance of ISO 50001 which is an internationally recognised energy management standard that outlines a framework for improving energy performance.
The programme was inaugurated at NIE’s Sir M.V. Auditorium, Golden Jubilee Complex this morning by Dr.S.Seetharamu, Technical Adviser, NDRF & former Director, CPRI, Bengaluru.
