Kollegal: Man’s relationship with man works at different levels. The bonding between mother-daughter, brother-sister, father-daughter are all very unique and special. One more bonding that is equally unique is the father-son relationship. But, strange are the ways that destiny works and even such sacred relationships can go horribly wrong and even end in tragedies.
One such heart-rending incident occurred here yesterday (Oct. 29) at Mudigunda village, where a father on hearing about his son’s death, went and ended his life. The unfortunate victim is Lakki Madeva (58), who on hearing about his son Ranjit’s (23) suicide also committed suicide the same night plunging the family members in grief.
