Mysuru: Fasting devotees Asha Bhansali (31 days of fasting) and Anand Bai Baliya, who completed Siddi Tap Tapasya under the blessings of Pujya Dhakshin Bhaskar Dr. Samkitmuniji at Jain Sthank at Halladakeri, were felicitated by the members of Sri Sthankvasi Jain Yuva Sanghtan here yesterday. The devotees fast by consuming only warm water till sunset for 30 or 31 days continuously without the intake of solid food or even juice. Siddhi Tap is a fasting were the person does one upwas parna then two upwas parna, three upwas parna up to eight upwas parna, for 45 days were total upavas days are 37 and parna days only eight. Here also on upwas day, the fasting devotee takes only warm water till sunset.
