Mysuru: To tackle shortage of water for crops, Department of Horticulture has invited applications from farmers to avail financial assistance (50% for general category and 90% for SC/ST) to purchase water tankers of 4,000 litre and 5,000 litre capacity.
The eligible farmers possessing one hectare of land (0.4 hectare for SC/ST) should submit the application before Oct. 31 at the respective Horticulture office in hobli or taluk.
