Hunsur: A farmer, who had requested the Manager of Karnataka Bank in Hunsur to provide him a part of money from his tobacco crop, attempted suicide by consuming poison in the Bank premises after the Bank Manager reportedly failed to respond to his request.
The farmer, who attempted suicide, has been identified as 41-year-old Suresh, son of Swamy Gowda and a resident of Thiplapura village in the taluk. He has been admitted to K.R. Hospital in Mysuru.
