A two-week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘Research Avenues in Biometrics using Low Cost Devices’ will be inaugurated at CS/IS Seminar Hall, Golden Jubilee Bhavan, JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU), tomorrow (Dec. 12) at 9 am under the aegis of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, JSS STU - Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE). Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar, former VC, University of Mysore, will be the chief guest. Prof. B.H. Shekar, Director, Computer Centre and Professor, Department of Computer Science, Mangalore University, Mangaluru, will be the guest of honour. Prof. A.N. Santosh Kumar, VC, JSS STU, will preside, according to a press release.
