The Lions International Eye Bank (LIEB) - Mysore Race Club (MRC) Eye Retrieval Centre at Siddarthanagar in city has retrieved the eyes of 21 people, who passed away in the months of January and February 2025. While the eyes of 10 people were retrieved in January, the eyes of 11 people were retrieved in the month of February, stated a press release from the Centre.
Expressing gratitude to the family members, who donated eyes of their loved ones, the LIEB-MRC Eye Retrieval Centre said that this will help the corneal blind individuals get vision and also expressed condolences to the grieving families. For eye donation, contact Mob: 90357-55046.
