Senior citizens aged sixty years or more are required to submit Form No.15G/ Form No.15H to the Banks to claim certain receipts without deduction of tax at source (TDS). In view of the present COVID-19 situation, such senior citizens are not able to visit the Banks and submit the required form before 30.4.2021. It is, therefore, requested that the authorities either extend the date of submission of the form to June 30 or validate the form submitted last year till 31.3.2022.
