Mysore/Mysuru: An exclusive Book Library, jointly funded by Minds United Trust and Infosys Foundation, was inaugurated by Padma Shri awardee and former senior Professor of Psychiatry, NIMHANS, Dr. C.R. Chandrashekar at the JSS Hospital, here recently.
Dr. Chandrashekar also delivered a talk on ‘My Health, My Right’ as part of World Health Day celebrations. The library, with both English and Kannada books, has been established to help the patients and their family members to spend quality time while they wait to get access to health service. Library services will be available between 9 am and 4 pm from Monday to Saturday. The initiative will be supervised by Department of Psychiatry, JSS Medical Hospital, Department of Clinical Pharmacy, JSS College of Pharmacy and JSS DIAL Book Club of JSS Medical College and Hospital.
