Mysuru: Former MLC G. Madhusudan has demanded a CBI enquiry against former Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) and University of Mysore Vice Chancellor Prof. K.S. Rangappa and another former KSOU Vice Chancellor Prof. M.G. Krishnan. He has alleged that Prof Rangappa is the kingpin of thousands of crores of rupees fraud in the KSOU and University of Mysore.
In a letter to HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar dated 14.9.2017, he has requested him to order a CBI enquiry against the former VCs for cheating 3.25 lakh students by way of disbursing unauthorised and unrecognised certificates of diploma, graduation and post-graduates certificates.
