Mysuru: In the wake of rise in Dengue and other vector-borne diseases in city and District, former Minister S.A. Ramdas had organised a blood donation camp at K.R. Constituency BJP office on Sunday, in which hundreds of BJP workers, RBI employees and members of various associations and organisations donated blood.
The camp followed Ramdas’s recent visit to K.R. Hospital and other hospitals in city to get first hand information on whether fever and Dengue patients were getting appropriate treatment. During his visit, Ramdas found that several hospitals were facing shortage of platelets, which is vital for saving the life of Dengue patients.
