Mysuru: In recent months, the residents of J.P. Nagar had sent complaints to South Western Railway (SWR) administration regarding encroachment on Railway land at Km.06/5-8 between A
shokapuram-Nanjangud Railway Station, opposite the under-construction Kamakshi Hospital, J.P. Nagar 1st Stage D-Block. The complainants had stated that as a result of encroachment in J.P. Nagar area adjacent to Ashokapuram Railway Station, the approach road to the Station had become narrow rendering it difficult for the rail-users and residents to move about freely and causing nuisance.
