Monthly meeting to discuss ways to protect the city’s trees, Deputy Conservator of Forests K. Paramesh speaks on promoting green spaces and the reconstitution of the Tree Authority, Dr. K. N. Amruthesh, Professor, Department of Botany, University of Mysore and Dr. S. Shankar Bhatt, former Professor of Botany, will also participate, Shantagouda Patil of the Centre for Advanced Learning and Sanjay Dattratri, Convener of MGP’s Tree Census project, will present an update on the census, which is nearing completion, #6/1 Vivekananda Road, Yadavagiri, 4 pm.
