The Horticulture Department, Mysuru, is implementing Horticulture Zone Extension Programme under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREG) for revival of horticulture crops like mango and coconut. The Department has now invited applications from farmers to avail subsidy for cultivation of horticulture crops such as mango, sapota, guava, jamoon, banana tissue culture, papaya and lemon. Interested farmers can get their names registered at nearest farmer contact centres.
