Mysore/Mysuru: “Electrical mishap cases in Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) Limited limits have reduced drastically by 70 percent,” said CESC Chief Engineer Mahadevaswamy Prasanna, here yesterday.
Speaking at the event titled ‘Safety feature while on job,’ organised as a part of Electrical Safety Week (June 26 to July 2) held at Karnataka Electricity Board Engineers Association (KEBEA) Training Centre in Kadakola, he said that while 211 electrocution cases were reported in 2022-23, the same had reduced by 35 percent with 138 cases in 2023-24.
