Dr. Y.C. Yogananda Reddy of Prithvi Children’s Hospital in Ballari has been elected as the President and Dr. K. Ravi, Surgical Professor at JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru, has been elected as the Vice-President of Karnataka Medical Council (KMC) during the election held on July 2, according to Dr. Shamrao B. Patil, Registrar, KMC and Returning Officer for the election. Meanwhile, the State Government has appointed Dr. Shivanand Bhimali, Dr. Santosh D. Patil, Dr. Chaitra V. Anand and Dr. Bharat Kumar as members of the Council.
