Elected to MCC Standing Committees

Mysuru: Even as the election to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor posts ended amidst chaotic scenes on Jan.24, the election to various Standing Committees ended on a peaceful note. Seven Corporators were elected to each of the four Standing Committees namely Finance and Appeals Committee, Public Health, Education and Social Justice Committee, City Planning and Improvement Committee and Audit & Accounts Committee. Finance and Appeals Standing Committee members - D. Nagabushan, Rajalakshmi, M.K. Shankar, Shivakumar, Fairoz Khan, K.P. Ashwini and Umamani. Public Health, Education and Social Justice Committee  members - R. Ravindra Kumar, C.S. Rajani, M. Ramesh, B.V. Manjunath, T. Ramu, Purushottam, K.T. Cheluvegowda. City Planning and Improvement Committee - S. Balasubramanya (Snake Shyam), C. Ramesh, M. Shivanna, Kempanna, N. Sunil Kumar, Ayaz Pasha (Pandu) and Rathnamma; Accounts and Audit Committee - G.H. Vanitha, B.K. Pushpavathi, SBM Manju, Ayub Khan, J.S. Jagadish, Lingappa and R. Pushpalatha.
