Devaraj Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation will be extending educational loans upto Rs. 1 lakh at 2 percent annual rate of interest to Backward Class students studying BE, MBBS, BUMS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, MCA, M.Sc (Agri) and other professional courses after obtaining admission through CET. Backward Class students seeking loans for 2017-18, can get the loan sanctioned while paying the CET fee for admission to professional courses. Backward Class students belonging to category-1, category-2A (excluding Vishwakarma and Sub-castes and Minorities), 3A and 3B and whose family annual income does not exceed Rs. 3.5 lakh are eligible for the loan. Those interested may log on to the Corporation’s website: www.karnataka.gov.in/dbcdc and submit the forms online — Usernameinfra\dbcdcarivu and password - DB(d#098 — before May 20.
