Bengaluru: Even as the countdown for the State Assembly polls has begun, Energy Minister D.K. Shivakumar seems to be in trouble, with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) filing an FIR against him on charges of tearing documents and destroying evidence when Income Tax officials raided Eagleton Resort in the outskirts of Bengaluru on Aug.2, 2017, where congress MLAs from Gujarat were staying.
The IT officials had then questioned Shivakumar about his act. The papers torn by Shivakumar related to payments to the tune of some Rs. 188 crore which was due to him.
