Mysuru: V.N. Prasad and troupe will be presenting a Musical Bonanza of Bollywood hits from the 1950s to 1990s, at the Platinum Jubilee Hall, MMC&RI, J.K. Grounds, as part of the fund-raising programme of the Lions Club of Mysore West. Programme commences at 5.30 pm. Prasad, soon to be 66 years of age, is being accompanied by youngsters Ashwin, Shabbir, Shreya, Jayanthi, Hamsini, Rakshitha and Ankita.
Prasad’s crusade continues to find new young singing talents in the city and project them on large platforms; enabling them to gain prominence. It may be recalled that 21-year-old Shabbir was projected on Apr.2, 2017, at ‘Adaab Rafi - 2’; where legendary Mohammed Rafi’s daughter and son-in-law, Nasreen and Miraj Ahamad, were the guests of honour at the programme organised at the same venue.
